What does it cost?

We have two pricing structures:

A flat rate booking fee per each booked act. The amount of the fee is determined by several factors including the size of your venue, type of event (non-ticketed, multi-band event, etc.). This flat rate fee applies to most small venues, coffee shops and small bars with non-ticketed, no cover or door charges. Please contact us for more information.

A Percentage Rate per each event being a negotiated percentage of total ticket sales, door or cover charges and drink sales or a combination thereof. This rate is applicable to some multi-band events and festivals if the event is ticketed or includes cover or door charges.

I'm thinking of having Live Music at my business, can you help me decide if its a good fit or not?

Yes, we are here to help determine if your location is ideal for live music and what is appropriate, meaning should it only be acoustic or non-amplified or can a PA be used; should bands bring in their own sound equipment, amps, gear, etc.

How much do I need to pay bands?

Red Knee Productions helps you decide what is appropriate to maintain a professional live music schedule going. We consult about band compensation and other amenities such as drinks and food.

I don't have a current music schedule. How soon can I expect to have bands start performing?

Usually about 30 days. Once all the details are sorted out regarding what kind of music to have, what to pay bands, what the days/nights/times for events will be; we start contacting bands to build up a schedule. On average this takes 30-45 days for the first event to take place.

Does Red Knee Productions represent the bands?

No. At this time, Red Knee Productions has no obligation to the acts we book. We do not get paid by the acts or charge bands to book them. We work for you, the venue or event manager, and simply offer bands the access to perform at your establishment or event.
